hi everyone. I was just wondering if it was possible to craft an emerald orichalcum earring but not ‘of the knight’. I saw someone have an emerald orichalcum earring of the berserker and deduced the only possible way was to either have an emerald orichalcum earring then infuse it with an exquisite ruby or infuse the emerald orichalcum earring of the knight with an exquisite ruby. But by performing the first option i don’t waste the exquisite emerald that goes into it.

you’ll need 5 emeralds to make the ring and you’ll need 5 at all times, your ringsinitial upgrade emerald is “free”, so “you’ll waste 1 when you upgrade placing the ruby.”
totals: it ‘ll be 6 * 2 ori ingots for the filigrees, 6 ecto’s, 5 emerald orbs, 1 ruby orb, 2 ingots for the band and 2 for the setting, for a grand total of :
16 ori ingots
6 ecto
5 emerald orbs
1 ruby orb.

and you upgrade it, infusions are only for ascended items, which have an (now) integrated upgrade which is unchangeable….

Get’s you a nice jewel.
I should be correct but i’m doing this from memory, I could be off 1 ingot (band could be 3)

yeah, in most cases it is cheaper to buy stuff from TP and then upgrade it as you wish
