Hello guys

I just wanted to start this topic to ask you guys where there is a possibility to farm karma for legendary. I only need my obsidian shards and 26 more mystic clovers to finish. But since i didn’t play for like 8 months, i feel like it’s so hard these days to get karma. Only way i can see getting karma is using Karma booster + daily/monthly. But i don’t think that is fun at all. Also i feel like Anet could make it more fun, if guild players can help each other farm the obsidian shards, and help other guildys to achieve their legendary.
What’s your opinion?

All events reward karma. I have been doing the events in the Crown pavilion since it was released and have made quite a bit of karma. If you do the events with karma boosts you get even more.

Would it be possible to farm 500k karma in 10 days?

Some servers have WvW karma trains. You could see if yours does, then pop some karma food and boosters and eat all that purple stuff.
Farming the pavilion with karma boosters gets you lots of karma, and so does crazy dungeon running.

I’d say the easiest way is to pop some karma boosters (food, booster, laurel booster if there is one, guild bonus, guild banner, etc) and run around the pavilion for an hour. See how much you make there and decide if that’ll work. I think you can switch servers between spawns to get more events, but that could be difficult to manage.

I had wondered how I had spent 140k karma after my character reached 80 and then made another 100k within in a few days. Turns out Fractals of the mists lvl 10 gives ~6k karma per run (just read that on the wiki today), so leveling my fractals to 10 (by running level 10 fractals with other people) and doing it a few dozen times more over the course of a week netted me ~100k karma. That could prove effective if you want to mix things up in between farming sessions, although event chains would probably prove more profitable (especially with boosters) if you can’t get good fractals groups.

By 10 days do you mean 10 full days or 10 days of after work play?
