You can easily spend 1000g on mystic forge without getting a precursor, unless you mean buying it from TP.

7 mio karma? Seems crazy. Or did they buy those legendaries?

I think they should make legendaries harder to get. Not 90% gold.

I wish i was rich in real life w/ deep pocket so I can just buy them off the TP for 2-4k gold each. I’d rather do that than grinding all my karma and skillpoints, not to mention level up a new character for gift of exploration is a pain in the kitten

But i agree it should take more to get a legendary than Gold and abit of RNG and Karma… they should implement something what is not that easy and you should of mastered. (Like Dungeon Master, Jumping Puzzle Master etc) but well.

I forgot to add i really like how Bolt and Prophecies are looking together looks kitten.

To bad i got only a 2hand Weapon and now a 1hand Waeapon ;[

If I can change my race to norn, I’d go norn with hammer and T3 cultural armor. That’d look bad kitten

i’m a Norn Guard! working towards juggernaut and plan to sport it with T3 cultural lol. maybe a mix and match here. i’ve just started playing with mace + shield for my healing build for fun (and it actually IS a lot of fun. least a good change of pace) and the flameseeker prophecies would look amazing. this was my second legendary i planned to get! then, call me silly, but i saw the shark spear and i LOVED it. given i don’t spend much time underwater. AT ALL. lol. but partially that’s why it’s so attractive to me lol. so when i DO finish juggernaut, and have more time on my hands.. i may go for this shield too. then need to find a mace to match ; ))

and agree, sword + focus is great in WvW. i need to get better at it. do you consistently use the scepter as well? hammer is pretty kitten too in WvW.

Yes I use scepter in WvW/PvE as well. Since most of the time when you encounter a zerg you don’t want to be in the front line and get kitten I used GS for a long kitten time but I find it too slow and the damage ain’t so much better than everything else so I decided to go sword/focus w/scepter instead.

So much whine I built my Flameseeker prophecies without buying a single component besides those req. from vendors. And I did not exploited, farmed Orr (actually, I did that for one day, then promised to myself never to go so dirty again, lol) perhaps 2-4 Onyx lodestones were given to me by some friends alltogether. I dont see whats so incredible difficult about them. Yes, precursor is pain to get, but just either buy it, or if feeling lucky use MF. The rest? Come on! You cant get all lodestones just running dungeons? Of course you can. I was running TA with PUGS on my guardian all three paths per day, perhaps sometimes I ran with my elementalist as well, but thats about it. Cores drop like mad. I agree that when I made the shield, Crystaline Dust was a way more easier to obtain, then before ecto salvaging – now its even more easier to get it. Ectos? I mean… come on. The only real problem was getting Karma before all of those dailies and other stuff if you would not farm Orr. Now Karma lies everywhere you move
