Hey guys,

So I’ve finally decided to pursue getting a Legendary and I’m about a third of the way there. I really love the look of both Twilight and Sunrise but am leaning towards the Sunrise side. What do you guys think? What suits Guardian more? I’ve heard people complaining that the effects of GS2 and Sunrise don’t work too well. Thoughts?

Which one would you get? I’ve decided to stick with a GS build although Juggernaut and Hammer was fun, GS just feels more efficient and practical.

It also irks me that Sunrise is one of the most common legendaries, along with Twilight so do you think it’s worth waiting for new legendaries? Any idea when they would come?

New legendaries will come “soon”. Better make Sunrise if you like it.

@AngelDiscarnate, I actually don’t like Eternity that much. I’d rather have or the other. The combination doesn’t work IMO.

I had a human male guardian, never played him. After finishing the eternity i started to play with and i even turned into a female now because looks more cool. Take ur time make the sunrise, after focus on twilight.

Anyway if u dont like the eternity go for sunrise have better aura else go for twilight for footsteps

I would make either Sunrise or Twilight but I wouldn’t make Eternity personally. Its just not cool enough to “destroy” a legendary over. I would rather have 2 chars each with a legendary. I made Sunrise and Juggernaut for my guard and I actually use Juggernaut more.

Hm thanks for the answers guys! I’m pretty well set on Sunrise now. I do love playing hammer on guard but GS just does a better job and is more practical if I ever do end up switching mains.
I agree. I’m not a fan of Eternity. Two different swords, two different effects.

I have a “golden” guardian and I made both Sunrise and Juggernaut for her. Not sure if my third should be Flameseeker or Twilight, I really don’t like some of the effects of Eternity, but I never use shield anyways so it might be a waste. Although shield would fit the dyes and the whole theme perfectly.

I’d recommend going for Eternity now. Great footfall and an amazing aura. As for Sunrise or Twilight, I’ve always like Sunrise more, it just fits Guardian better.

I really wouldn’t worry about the “new” legendaries, nobody knows when they’re coming, however it probably won’t be for awhile.

I planned for frostfang awhile back for my guard in combo with jormag’s breath to match all the blue and blue flames but yea…. ;_;

Plus if you join an elitist pug they aren’t as likely to kick you for your DPS loss.

The footfall of Eternity is nice but the problem is it is not nice enough to sacrifice a whole nother legendary for. Same with the hilt on Eternity. Like I’ve said before, I would rather just keep Twilight and Sunrise separate and have 2 legendaries but to each their own I guess.

If you play with a shield then without a doubt – get ‘The Flameseeker Prophecies’.

The Flameseeker Prophecies will always be my favorite. It’s just so simple and elegant, yet perfect. I know a lot of people don’t like Guardian shield skills, but they are pretty decent. It’s especially great for bunker guard in pvp.

Sunrise is beautiful too, it was my first legendary and I don’t regret it. Anyways good luck and have fun working towards it!
