Does anyone know if it’s necessary to but the recipes for the legendary gifts from the mystic forge attendant? Or can I just throw the ingredients in and get the gift?

Help would be much appreciated.

It depends on what gift you need, the only gifts you need to buy/can buy are the ones related to crafting professions like Gift of Wood/Metal and stuff.

If miyani, the mystic forge lady, sells a recipe that your legendary needs, then yes, you’ll need to buy the 10g recipe from her to make that gift.
