Is it better to upgrade them, or just pawn them in order to afford the metric ton of other stuff you need? At 2-4 silver a piece, it adds up to quite a nice profit but you desperately need tons of T6 materials too…

Almost always better to sell T5 materials than to upgrade. Use profits to purchase T6.

Upgrading T5 does not yield a healthy return.

Depends on the market. I’ve had times where I made 30g from selling the t6 mats I made by using 50 skillpoints. So, obviously it was cheaper to upgrade t5 mats. Sometimes it’s the same price, but upgrading will cost you skillpoints. In that case you should ask yourself if you need the skillpoints.

Anyway… why don’t you just do the math yourself instead of asking this question on the forums hoping other people will do it for you?

Sell them and buy T6. Using them to craft cloth shoulders and salvaging for ectos is sometimes viable, if you’re feeling lucky.

The main problem currently is how expensive dust is.

Sell everything except for t5 bloods. T6 bloods are going crazy expensive atm.
