I did a brief search of the boards and didn’t find my answers so hopefully someone can fill me in. . .

1. Is it correct that Legendary items have the same stats as exotic?

2. Is it correct that if you want a particular weapon (i.e. mace) you only get one choice with whatever stats it comes with?

3. Is it correct that you attempt to transmute the legendary skin onto an exotic item that has the stats you want, that you lose the stats?

4. What’s the frigg’n point to going through all that trouble and expense for legendary if it is so limited???

1. Yes. For now. Legendary stats will be boosted to accended once accended weapons will be added into the game.

2. Yes, it’s true.

3. You will lose legendary rarity of the item. ANet is going to fix this issue in future.

4. Appearence and prestige.
