quick question:
Let’s say I create an alt, and at level 2 I choose a craft and level it to a max of 400. About what level would that take my character?

In general crafting to 400 will grant you 10 level. However, for some reason I don’t completely understand the lower levels go a bit faster, so you’ll probably get to around level 16, instead of 12.

I did this on a character, and as I recall, I ended around level 16.

From level 1-15 character experience rewards (crafting, events, explores, etc) are based off a table of higher values than is actually needed for those levels. So you end up getting about 30% more experience than expected 1-15. Leveling a craft from 1-400 will net you slightly more than 13 levels assuming you start at 2.
