I want to level a toon from scratch to level 80 using crafting.

Is the totals for my crafting guides, which are never more than an hour old.

I’ve used the above mentioned website to get all 8 crafts to 400. By far the best,easiest & most informative of the guide sites available.

Have any of you used food buffs to gain better crafting experience?

How much has that effected how many crafts it has taken to get to 80?

Here is my question, does it really take leveling all crafts to 400 to get to 80, if getting to 80 is your only goal? There are these food buffs, that give 50 percent xp while crafting.

Yes, most informative…did you really think you could get to 80 lvl’ing one or two craft(s)?

Of course not, but I have seen food that gives buffs like 50 percent xp for crafting, so while 2 crafts wouldn’t necessarily get you to 80, but maybe 4 or 5 would.

I don’t know. It’s why I am asking.

There are no foods that buff the xp you get while crafting. The xp booster does not affect the character xp you get while crafting either.

After you typed that I found this saying the same, “The boost increases bonus crafting experience, but does not affect experience towards leveling. In other words, you use fewer materials in order to gain crafting ranks.” —-bah who knew.
