I was thinking about leveling Artificer for some of the soul bound tonics such as the Krait, Plant Wolf, Skale, and some other tonics.
The mystery tonics, primary parts of the soul bound tonics, can be only made by a 400 Artificer.
My question is can you use the “cheaper tonics” (furniture and the one that “smells like forest”) combined with the right ingredients in the Mystic Forge to create the soul bound tonics such as the Krait tonic? The real expensive one (that says it smells like singed fur and feathers) costs around 50 silver to make and would make the soulbound ones really expensive and not worth it.
GW2 official wiki and many other sites are very vague on these subjects.
