So i’ve decided to get a lidless eye…now my question is does anyone know farming spots/good ways to get giant eye’s?

Apparently they are EXTREMELY rare to find which is kind of a downer because farming events over and over for the silver and then buying off the TP seems much less rewarding than actually getting the materials yourself. But if i have to resort to that…so be it…but yeah, anyone know where i can farm these?

As far as I know these CAN NOT be farmed. I could be wrong. I have been playing since launch and have probably only got….I want to say between 15-20 of these mostly from Large bags.

I agree with the poster above me. The only time I’ve ever received giant eyes were from bags. From my own experience, they were heavy moldy bags.

—> Do cof-1 few times (or your prefered gold grind) and buy them off from tp. It’s less than 9g if bought straight and under 5g if you’ve patience to use buy orders.

Not going to work, you’d be lucky to get 10 in a month or so…

As usual, GW2 best wayt get stuff is:
Make money (as you prefer to do.) → Buy stuff off TP (giant eyes) → get things done (craft the weapon).

You cannot farm giant eyes. They are an extremely rare world drop (I have got more precursor drops than giant eye drops since release, 2 to 1).

They do come from moldy bags, and I would say you get 0.5 giant eyes per 250 moldy bag stacks.

You are better off farming gold and buying it off the outpost.

You know, you’d think that Giant Eyes are a great commodity to hoard but countless times I’ve seen people try to do it and they failed miserably. There is very little supply – sure. But there is such few demand thakitten plummets rapidly. I’ve seen the price rise as high as 1.2G only to fall down to 40-60s a day late.
