i have seen the bow and the model is mostly apt…. it is still a rainbow princess unicorn bow of werid. if anything it looks like a weapon that you would get for an idk easter event….
Stay away from my unicorn shortbow. It’s obviously too awesome for you.
The only way it could be better is if it blew bubbles as you ran, through the web part at the top.
Make it happen Anet.
i found it to be kind of a relief.
Could you enlighten me as to what the grand benefit of The Dreamer is opposed to The Lover of Rage? I understand that for end-game gear in GW2, items are more or less identical with only cosmetic differences. However, I did expect the Legendary weapons to at least be slightly better, maybe 5 or 10%. With the Precision and Crit Damage on The Lover replaced with Toughness and Vitality on The Dreamer, it seems to go the exact opposite way in terms of damage.
Am I missing something? Is The Lover a better ShortBow for PvE related content compared to The Dreamer?
Tesh, by your argument, what is the point to the Lover of Rage over a Berserker’s Pearl Needler then? Same stats…
What people want in the legendary weapons is the weapon skin, the looks and the effects. After you get the legendary, use a transmute stone to put the stats of a Berserker’s Pearl Needler into it. Voila, you have your Dreamer with the right stats.
Right now, with legendaries only providing a skin change and extra effects, people are already price gouging on the precursors for a laugh. If legendaries had extra stats, you can be kitten sure that people will outright price the precursors out of everyone’s hands, just to deliberately maintain a small elite.

Good point about the transmuting, Florence. Still need to get used to that.
Yea, legendaries were made to just have cool skins, not to have better stats in any way….otherwise, only the super-rich (and the super-lucky as it is right now) would have the upper-hand on other players in terms of better stats, which isn’t cool.
My main toon, a male Norn Ranger wont be touching either with a ten-foot pole. I absolutley loathe both the models. Maybe if I decide to make a girly-girl female Sylvari ranger they might fit. On the other hand… No
Rainbows and butterflies isn’t the way to go in GW2 IMHO.
