Looking for full compiled list of recipes.
Cant help you much but with a little advice:
When Jeweler and Cook gets extended to lvl 500, most certainly all lvl 400 discovery recipes will be reset for those professions, so i wouldnt focus on those first.
And you are looking at over 1300 recipes just for satchel/boxes of armor recipes.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
Don’t know if this site is known to ya—but it I used quite a bit to ‘discover’ recipes.
@Wanze – Hmm, looks like my 2 stacks of elonian wine isn’t enough.
@Blude – I am already aware of that site, thanks though. I’m more concerned with recipe sheets then discovery recipes since those are much harder to do.
With recipe sheets, they can come from anywhere:
1. past events that are no longer available
2. accountbound recipes that can’t be bought
3. hasn’t been discovered/ known by players.
4. Low drop rates.
Are you planning on learning every recipe for each ascended weapon and armor with every stat combination available as well? Just so you know, that alone will cost you over 2000 gold and over 3000 laurels (which, considering the rate you can acquire laurels will take over 5 years)
@AtriustheGod Ascended is my last priority. Although most ascended is found through laurels, which I don’t have a problem with (although I do hate timegates), I’m more concerned with limited recipe sheet based ones, such as Keeper’s Zealot inscriptions.
Limited drop or accountbound drops are my number 1 priority, since they are much harder to collect.
Cost isn’t a factor, I make a lot of gold as is.
I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to get all the recipes in the game, some are too exclusive. How will you go about getting the Revelry Starcake recipe?
Your best bet is parsing the API :: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:Main#Items
Updated every 20 minutes based on current TP prices.
@DiamondMeteor – I want to get the most out what I can get, even though some recipes are gone. So if some are gone forever, so be it. Hopefully the starcake would come back in dragonbash. Or Anet could help me -wink wink-
If even it’s impossible or takes like 5 years to collect, that doesn’t mean I should stop because it’s out of reach. Which was the point of me collecting it all. So in the end, I could make an extensive list in the wiki and update it as such. The collection hoarder screams inside me.
@xanthic – I can attempt again on using API, but I’m no technical (in a software sense) kind of guy. Do you happen to know any beginner’s guide other then the one given? Thanks
I could help you with pulling the list with the API.
What sort of details do you want with the list? For example this is a list of all the recipe sheets from the API excluding ascended.
Ok this worked for me! Thanks for the leads and the ops question-don’t know how I missed it! DuH!

@Khisanth – It’s a very long list I would imagine. I need help to make a list of all recipe sheets to date, including karma, and ascended. If it makes it easier for you (not sure it would), you can separate it by rarity, or how it was obtained. ex drop, karma, mystic forge… Whichever is easier.
Only looking for the names is the main thing.
@Blude – As I said before, the wiki is incomplete and I’m looking for more specific ones. An example would Potent Superior Sharpening Stone. I didn’t know these dropped in the during the Aetherblade event.
Although I do get what you are trying to say (at least I think so), is that I use it as a general idea and work my way there. Thanks for trying though.
Everything except ascended http://pastie.org/8743569
Just ascended http://pastie.org/8743572
@Khisanth – :o o: Thanks so much, it’s exactly what am I looking for. Now, does it also include non-discovered recipes? I heard that if it hasn’t been discovered, it’s not shown anywhere.

It does not include things that haven’t discovered yet but that would imply it is something nobody has obtained it yet. That would probably be a Mystic Forge creation.
@Khisanth – Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I’ll be that person to do it eventually.

By flying over that list, it seems to me that there are actually some recipes missing in regards to satchel/box recipes and food platters, which are created in the mystic forge.

Yeah … no master, rare or exotic box of Apothecary armor.
@Khisanth – I would need your genie powers again. Is there a list of undiscovered recipes?:D:D
You mean undiscovered by anyone in the game or your character?
For your character that might become possible with v2 of the API.
For the other one that seems to be purposely left out. Although for things like armor boxes/satchels it would be possible to generate the list of missing ones as well.
I went about your problem by using the api.
Returns a list of all recipe ID’s: https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/recipes.json
You would then take that list and find detailed info on each recipe ID: https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/recipe_details.json?recipe_id=1275
it tells things like name, output id, how many are produced, what level required, what crafting discipline, how you learn it, ingredients.
only good for crafting disciplines, not mystic forge. of course, mystic forge doesn’t require learned recipes, and the recipes it does have can be generic.

@Mystic – The thing is, I don’t really know how to utilize the API. Like in a programming sense, which programs do I insert the codes, or how do I bring up certain information needed.
@Khisanth – Well, the missing ones is the ones I’m looking for also. For characters, it would be great to add on site → insert char → find out how many found vs missing. I feel like I’m using you too much so if you can show me how to use it, that would be great.
Relevent: I think I got all the new recipes from the LA event. Got lazy to craft the backpiece.
