How do you guys go about getting low level crafting mats in low levels?

Buying mats right off the trading post?
Making a new char and farming?

Because it seems that going down to lower levels doesn’t allow you to get low lvl items for you to salvage.

By the way, I’m specifically talking about Tailoring and Cloth mats

i actually get low lvl wepons armor exct and honestly i very rarley get my lvl80 wepons and armor. but if i need material i usually buy off the TP its almost dirt cheep for them compared to T6 for legendarys lol

How do you never get any lvl 80 weapons?
I mapped all of Plains of Ashford today and only got lvl 75-80 weapon and armor

Kill mobs that drop bags and salvage items (humanoid or centaur mobs usually) if you want to get a specific level of fine crafting material, leather, or cloth. Bags and salvage items (e.g. leather strap, patch of fur) are always at the level of the mob and not your level.

You won’t get much luck from weapons and armour as that is scaled to your characters level most of the time.

Leave it to the bots to farm the materials. If you need them, go about your way of gold making and purchase them, else you’re wasting your own time.
