Those 2 Mystic Forge weapons have the same skin (same as Chaos Gun) and both are named after one of the twins forming the goddess Lyssa.

Can they be combined so they create another pistol just like Sunrise and Twilight can be combined to form Eternity? Since they’re related to each other, maybe there is a third version combining them.

According to the wiki, combining the two in the mystic forge can create a legendary weapon named Lyssa. I would assume it’s another pistol, but there’s currently no page for the weapon itself. The mention of the weapon is on the Lyssa page.

Hmm I see that on the wiki but the db or guildhead doesnt have that item from the data mine.

Is it really a legendary? Or a pseudo-legendary like those weapons that cost an insane amount of materials to get? :O (In which case, I’d reckon it to be so)

my guess is it would cost right now about 160 to make. Lyss is more expensive to make than llya since lyss uses the barrels which are also used to make destroyer weapon so it costs more. Nothing really uses the shaft for llya. Llya is about 60g to make. If it is true there is a weapon combining the two the price will go up for sure.

My guess would be Lyss + Ilya + 10 Philosopher’s stones + 5 piles of crystalline dust, like when crafting Eternity.

I honestly doubt a couple of crafted exotic items mixed will give a legendary.
Both weapons doesn’t require more than a few efforts farming mats to be crafted, would be quite idiot if you can truly get a legendary for free just mixing a couple mesmer weapons.

Crafting Eternity requires two legendary weapons, whereas crafting this Lyssa weapon theoretically only requires exotics. For that reason I suspect you’d need the two gifts required for most legendary weapons, thus making it on par with (if not more expensive than) other legendary weapon recipes.

It could just give you another named exotic rather than a legendary.

It cant be a legendary weapon, because you don’t have any legendary parts here
and Lyssa is a goddess not a pistol

would be nice if some staff member gives some light on this, im really interested.

ive made ilya already x.x ill try to make Lyss (i need 50 skill points to spare) and see if it fits with crystalline dust, if not i’m throwing that shiz on the trading post.

nope i dont think it works here is la proof. then again i could be wrong and its a diff formula but i may prob just sell these lol.

Question about the two guns, do they have any kind of effect on them? Or are they the same as the Pact weapon skins?

you wouldnt happen to have either the gift of fortune or mastery someone suggested those might be he pieces since they are used in all the other legendaries.

er they both look the same and it looks like this. and no i do not happen to have any of the gifts, but i did notice the gw2 wiki has been edited after i made my post. i already posted ilya on tp and kept lyss since i figured no one would want to pay extra for a wep tht looks the same as illya but cost more.

Several people tried last night. People haven’t tried combining them with various gifts et, but honestly it seems like speculation.

Considering finally is even removed from wiki, clearly was a fake info someone had fun to post.

How do you craft either of these just out of curiosity.

I’ve had both of these weapons for a while and have wondered whether or not they combine into something else worthwhile. I’m not brave enough to try it but if someone else has the gold to toy around with please share your results
