Made wrong back item in mystic forge
No refunds unfortunately.
You can make the cheapest quivver and transmute the look..
Put in a ticket to Support (its not anything the public needs to see). Be extremely clear and polite. Put the mistaken object in the first slot of your character’s inventory and tell them that’s where it is so they can look it up effortlessly when they pull your file. Since its a zero sum game (sames stats, same cost, all other materials identical) you migth get a favorable responce.
I’ve found doing all of the above steps have lead to positive results dealing with Support for games that have been lesss responsive than the GW2 crew, so maximize your odds and give it a try.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

huh. didn’t know they were that similar of a recipe until now. glad I didn’t puppy up when I made mine; that would be too easy to do and I was not paying /that/ close of attention.
I doubt you could get a refund, but it wouldn’t hurt to try.

I had a somewhat similar issue; I lagged when buying fractal backitem and ended up getting 2nd item instead of 1st. I put in a support ticket and they said no exchange can be made.
Got a response from support team and they say they unfortunately cannot do anything about the issue I’m sure others have made the same mistake as the recipes are completely the same cost, just a difference in which skill point item. Now I’m stuck with a book on my back instead of a quiver on my thief and it just looks… well terrible and out of place.
Guess all I can do now is just use this post as a warning to others to be vary careful when it comes to buying the skillpoint item.
I am very disappointed
Unfortunate.
You will have one more opportunity: if you upgrade the item to an Infused version I believe it will become account bound, soulbound on equip. At that point you can at least move it to a character for whom a book might be more appropriate (and recoup some of your investment).
