I’ve been saving the Master Mining Pick items that I’ve been getting , hoping to use them late game. Funny thing is, in trying to use them on a platinum node, it RUINED it.
Has anyone noted a mining limit on the Master Mining Pick?

Just use the best one you can use at your level.

The Master Mining Pick’s “level” is either random or depends on something nobody has been able to pin down yet. I know I was able to mine mithril with my elementalist using a Master Mining Pick.

I would recommend just using those as soon as you get them. You can buy more masterwork picks(also sickle and axe, the axe has a pick icon too -_-) from karma vendors in Bloodtide Coast.

The only down side is that those tools only have 25 uses.

I haven’t tested the axe yet but the masterwork tools bought with karma from Bloodtide can definitely harvest Omnomberry, Black Crocus and the pick can mine Orichalcum.

Yeah, I thought the same thing… since it was a green. Screwed over for sure. These things should have a level/item indicator.

When you get it, it’s for your level.
If you received it at level 15, you’ll only be able to mine the approximate of level 15 range.. Which is mostly copper and Iron ore nodes.

Don’t save it up because, when you try to use it at 80, it will not work. It’s a level 15 pick ax. You could mine copper with it though..

People already pinned it down. If they didn’t, guess I was one of the only for months.. Now you know too.

I have 2 master mining picks, one can mine up to gold ore, the other can mine up to mithril. So most likely it depends at what level you acquire those tools.

I used all these to mine candy corn since I knew they could hit them. I find the lack of an indicator super annoying.

Question though: If I get the pick from a level 30 zone but I’m level 60 which is it good for?
