I am moving towards crafting my legendary scepter soon. I have checked on the internet relevant videos of other players having crafted it and what do I realize? That I will be wasting my materials I very dearly have been gathering. 100 Charged Lodestones for NO effects whatsoever, no footprints, nothing overall apart from a good skin. I am just wondering why is that? I would very much appreciate it if I get some form of response from the Development Team at some point.

As for OP Anet has already stated that some of the legendaries are lack luster and with their effort of adding new ones they will be enhancing some of the current ones. IIRC.

the scepter itself leaves a blue streak in the air (follows the scepter) when running.

they have mentioned that not all legendaries were created equal, didn’t the incinerator recently get a small upgrade of effects? just assume Meteorlogicus is on the overly long to-do list they have.

It’s a one-handed weapon. It would be weird to have 2 legendary’s equiped wich both have special footprints. They would conflict wich each other (would be cool if they added a special effect for equiping 2 legendary’s though :-p)

What do you mean? He stated that he was working towardsmaking that scepter soon, implying that he has been gathering materials for it prior to researching how it looks like. Now that hes almost done (implied by him stating that hes making it soon) he then decided to check how it looks like and feels disappointed and has been collecting mats for no reason. Why blame ANet for a skin he doesnt like without the proper research?

That’s not true!
Legendaries certainly don’t lack effect due to the possibility of colliding effects, because there are already several combinations that would break this rule – like combinations of axe, sword and dagger..

I did check all m8 since early September, I have more than 3000 hours in game, I just raised an issue on why for example Twilight or Sunrise get more effects. I certainly did not want to find myself on the receiving end of pointless trolling. But it looks like some of you got this job only.

i have the same problem as the thread starter. just need a few lodestones to finish it but the closer i get, the less i like it.
Why other 1-handed weapons have footprints or other cool effects??
Dev Team add some effects on it and a statement here please!

3000 hrs? no offense, but if that’s true (hard to believe 24*30*4=2880), honestly you might want to see an addiction specialist
