Seeking this badboy for my Warrior, and foolishly soulbound the precursor before finding this out ….

Only issue is I use the mace in the OH only (MH sucks, this is not news).

According to the wiki Legendaries in OH don’t have footsteps shown, but others have told me Moot in OH still gets it footsteps.

Can anybody confirm this please? If not, no biggie, it’s still one of the cheapest Legendaries and will be well used regardless ^.^

There’s this weird thing where legendary footsteps of the main-hand overrides any offhand footstep effects, but if you don’t have a legendary in your main-hand, then it shouldn’t be a problem. (I dual wield legendary weapons and have experienced this phenomenon)

Moot in offhand still shows all particle effects and footprints. The only way an offhand legendary wont show footprints is if you have a legendary in your mainland.

Source: I’ve had the Moot for about a month now and run Axe/Mace on my warrior all the time.

Good choice Moot’s my favorite. I’m glad to hear the effects are still there even if it’s in the OH slot. I would test it, but I run Moot on guardian and OH Mace isn’t really an option… GL and enjoy the disco and fireworks!
