More sources for Keeper's recipes?
Just like Celestial Recipes, I doubt that they will reintroduce them for a while.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
There may be a bit of a last minute price dip when ANet makes the chests available again (for people who still have cyphers to turn in), but yeah, don’t expect prices to get any lower for some time.
Besides, the finished products are all account bound and not all that useful for most common builds out there. I think I got an exotic hammer recipe and exotic tailor chestpiece recipe, shrugged and moved on with my life. Perhaps, so should you.
…
Ranger | Necromancer | Warrior | Engineer | Thief
I bought every single exotic recipe while they were “cheap”. Probably never use half of them (or more), but I’d rather spend a few gold on them in case I need them than end up needing one a year down the road and have to spend a few gold on that one alone.
Ascended I’ll just never bother with because the prices even during the event were asinine. Drop rate was just WAY too low (I opened probably almost 200 chests in Scarlet’s Lair and got 2 Ascended insignia recipes, not a single one of the actual item recipes). Not that I have ascended gear on any of my characters as it is, still haven’t decided to cross that bridge yet, but my one character I’m using Zealot gear on definitely won’t be getting Ascended ever now, until they decide to make it less of a terror to get.
I can’t fathom why the devs keep adding new recipes like this. Why should new stat combos be luxury items? Make them a little harder to get by making the materials to make them harder to get, fine. But don’t make just getting the capability to make them cost hundreds of gold (Ascended) alone.

I don’t want to trade them, I want to use them. It’s the perfect combination for my ele (getting some healing power without sacrificing power as the main attribute), and it looks tempting for my guardian and bomb engineer, too.
Basically, it’s a good combination for anyone who benefits from healing power, but doesn’t want to sacrifice damage by going Cleric’s.
They made Sentinel’s and Settler’s available for ascendeds from the crafting vendors for laurels+gold. I’m not sure why it hasn’t been done for these. Restricting what’s arguably the BiS items to a small minority of the player base does not seem like a reasonable thing to do.
The Keeper recipes are dropping from the Ultimate reward bags for rescuing 1200+ civilians. This has depressed the recipe prices as a result (picked up the last one I was after for 25% of the normal price!) Now’s a good time to buy if you still want some.
Lost like a thousand gold from investing in the keeper’s recipe. Guess I spend hundred hours farming gold for nothing.

Lost? O_o
They will be going back up. So unless you decided to dump them now at a lost there shouldn’t be an issue.
Yeah, they will probably go up again after this LS is over.
BUT… Expect them to make a reappearance again sometime down the track (at the very least, when r500 Jeweler is released and Keeper trinket recipes become available. Since Zealot trinkets are available, it’s almost a certainty that the Ascended variants will also become available). There’s a decently high chance that ANet may introduce new ways of getting the weapon/armor Keeper recipes at that time, such as from the Guild Commendation Traders or the Laurel Vendors.
As with all investments, the key is knowing when to sell, and there’s always a bit of gamble as to whether you’re selling at the right time.
