Mystic Clover and the odds
I did the 10x for my clovers. HOPING to see results like yours. I hit 80 clovers on 12 attempts. Only 1 “fail” gave me a decent T6. Was considering making more just to farm more T6.
Or just get on the CHAMP train..
It took me more than 3 stacks of ectos to get 154 clovers for eternity. I used the 10x recipe to 150, then 1x recipe for last 4. So even if we assume it was exactly 3 stacks and not more I got 20% mystic clovers.
The wiki has all the documentation for the drop rates. They avg. around 33%. However, it will vary a lot, especially if you do the 10x recipe. I have ~225 clovers, so I know
Usually, when you want clovers you get t6 mats instead and when you want t6 mats, you get clovers. I’ve had runs where I wanted mats, did 10x x 10 recipes and got 50 clovers…those were sad days
If you want to get an average result in general, and in particular “get the clovers safe”, use the 1-recipe. Since you have a lot more MF-uses with that recipe, the variation will even out much more.
for my first legendary (Bolt) i was very very very lucky, just needed 110 shards to get 80 clovers.
for my second one (Kudzu), i needed around 250 shards to get 77 clovers……
Archeage = Farmville with PK
150 attempts later and I had my clovers. my first legendary took me over 250

Based on data available so far the 10-unit recipe seems to have a slightly better yield-rate than the 1-unit recipe.

The results are very close, that is a usual variation with such data. Judging from the data, I see no reason to believe that the yield-rates are actually different (in the game code).

You’re probably right. The disparity was larger some weeks ago, but the gap is closing as more data is coming in (I hadn’t re-checked the figures before posting).

The disparity was larger some weeks ago, because 3 contributors used the table wrong. They did not add the number of times they got something, but added how much of something they received. For the 1 clover recipe thats the same, because you always get 1 single clover, but for other materials you get more than just 1 and often times it’s even a range like 2-4 or 1-5.
Consequently, the automatic calculations of the table template got a bit screwed, because the data of those contributors (how they entered it, not how they meant it) corresponded to chances of 9.5%, 13.8% and 15.6% for clover, which of course lowered the total chance of that data column.
I happened to notice that about two and a half weeks ago and corrected it with several edits (last minor one today).

Ah! Funny… When I entered my 1 clover recipe data some days ago I was thinking that some people might get it wrong and do what you just described…

Victory is Life Eternal [VILE] – Desolation
It cost me 380 ecto’s to get 77 clovers, only used the 1x recipe. That’s about 20% chance, much lower than it’s supposed to be.

I feel your pain… I am at 40 clovers and spent already 220 ectos
I went for the clover recipe, and have 150 clovers now. I used the 10 recipe and spend about 250 ecto’s. The cool part about it, is that when I sold all the leftover mats I came out with a 15g profit (for some reason I had 20-30 t6 mats return with only 10 ecto’s used).
Not sure if I’m extremely lucky, but just wanted to throw it out there. At current t6 mat prices, and with a bit of luck, you’ll break even or even come out with a profit using the 10 recipe.
Actually, on second thought, I’m extremely lucky getting the clovers. Cause I got most of them at the end, I also could’ve gotten nothing. Then again, the only limited factor is karma and skill points, because when you don’t get clovers, you get mats you can sell and you hardly lose gold.
