I know that there are 2 recipe for craft it but with this topic i want to know which i should use. Wiky says that 1 clover recipe is like 1 on 3…. and 10 clovers recipe? I have 200 Obsidian shard to craft 77 clovers. Which recipe i have to use so?

People have variable rate, but 1 in 3 is about average for both recipes. If you use the 1x recipe, you will need roughly 230-250 obsidian shards. If you do the 10x recipe, you are more likely to need either less than that or more than that. The main issue with the 10x recipe is its a gamble. Some people have had good results, others not so good. Feel free to do which you feel more comfortable with.

Most people regard themselves as unlucky and so do the 1x recipe and end up using 230-250 shards. Good luck.

for the forge yes. a dev said so – it only effects the drop/loot table from monsters.

Both recipe’s have the same 1/3 chance but because you can gamble more often with the x1 recipe than you can with the x10 recipe averages show that you are most likely to reach your goal quicker with the x1 recipe.

out of the 5 times i did the x10 recipe it worked once, i’ve had a 9clover streak with the x1 recipe, it’s just all averages and luck so either go for a big gamble or play it safe.

x1 recipe is safer. If you’re going to be upset if you do the x10 recipe and get a 5-6 streak of bad luck and no clovers (fairly common), stick to the x1 recipe (I had a 15 streak of no-clover once, but it only sucked a little bit instead of “was depressing”).

I don’t believe the 10x recipe to have a 30% chance. Most people report much lower odds of getting 10x to work (chances are probably closer to 10% from memory)

I’m using 10x recipe for clovers. As of now, i’ve got 30 clovers out of 8 attempts. One of those made me 11 charged lodestone, earning me 11 gold. Maybe the odds are lower and i’m being lucky, but you also get the chance to obtain various non-clover valuables from the 10x recipe too. It’s also pretty awesome when you get 20 clovers in a row with the 10x one =p

Of course, pure probabilistic results would lean toward using the 1x recipe, as you can rely much more on the rate of success then the 10x one (also meaning that you could be “luckier” with the 10x one).

Assuming both recipes have equal chance of producing clovers, the 1x recipe is much safer since you get more forges overall, which will bring you closer to the estimated average then if you would doing the 10×. The 10x would more then likely be farther away from the average, which could be very good or very unlucky for different people.
