Guild Wars 2

So just today I was in Lions Arch at the Mystic Forge and I got myself a really good greatsword, and since I’m a noob I wanted to see if I combined it with my main greatsword and a few other things if it would make an even better greatsword, but instead I lost both the good and my main greatsword for some hat that I cant wear.
So I was wondering if its possible to either reset your game to another save or maybe even be able to reset combos in the Forge

No, the mystic forge deletes items placed into it to create the new items
items that are used in the mystic forge are gone.

There are no savegames in a MMO. The only thing coming close to it would be an account reset but that is nothing you can do yourself and it’s only done if your account was hacked.

The Mystic Forge is like playing the lottery, sure someone will win sometime but, 99.98% of the rest of us will lose!

sorry, your greatswords are gone. what comes out of the mystic forge is dictated by what goes in. If 4 greatswords go in, 1 greatsword comes out. if 1 greatsword + 1 sword + 1 longbow + 1 trident go in, a random weapon will come out.
I didn’t think it was possible to throw mixed types in there (weapons + armor), so I’m not sure how you got a helm from greatswords. what were the other 2 items?

I don’t remember what the other items were but the item I got back was a Shamans hat of something

But it doesn’t matter anymore because I found the good sword on the trading post and got it
