so i am trying to upgrade my spinal blades pack, and after gaining the requisite materials, and learning the appropriate recipe, i tried to craft the Gift of Blades – however, the Watchwork Mechanism and 15 Elonian Leather Squares are not showing up in the ingredients list for the Mystic Forge.

i’m relatively new at the Mystic Forge, and i was wondering if there’s a solution to this problem

That’s because the gift of blades is crafted with 500 armorsmith, tailoring, or leatherworking. You buy the design from the mystic forge girl for 5g then craft it at the tables.

Make sure you purchase the right design. There is one design for each craft, each one using a different ascended material.

as i mentioned above, i did. doublechecked it just now. my leatherworking is 500, i bought the right recipe from miyani, and have the elonian leather squares – but they’re simply not showing up.

Because you use Mystic Forge. Use the Crafting table. It is a crafting recipe, not a forge one.

That does not appear to be the case. Blade shards, Elonian Leather Squares, and Watchwork Mechanism do not show up on the available ingredients in the leatherworking station.

The Gift of Blades shows up in your Productions tab, not Discovery.
