hey guys im trying to level a brand new character to lvl 30-35 so that i can just go straight into dungeons.

Which crafts are the cheapest and fastest to level up?

ive heard leveling a craft to 400 = 10 levels. is this true?

I have a crafting booster, are there any good guides that could get me to 30+ in the hour provided?

any other tips and tricks to leveling on the cheap?

what is the general ballpark amount of gold i will need?

costs cooking < jc/artificer < everything else.

1-400 is 10 levels worth of xp. However Anet increased the amount of xp you get from rewards during 1-15 so events/crafting/explore/etc will give you more experience than expected(crafting will give ~13 levels instead of 10)

Cooking is by far the easiest, if you have another character that can get the Karma foods, its really a matter of make Dough, Cookie Dough, Spam cookies, pie filling and pies till you hit 400. My newest 80 I did cooking with a Booster in 37 minutes.
