New Crafting to 500, weapons only?
Only those three go up to 500 this release.

^ What he said. The other crafting disciplines will get their turn, although I’m quite curious as to what Chef will get at r500.
In the “Looking Ahead” article, they said they will be adding in new types of legendary gear. So, maybe they are going to be adding in legendary armor? If the precursors for those are going to be craftable as well, it might be a reason they didn’t want to raise them to 500 just yet. Legendary weapons and precursors are already ingame, so it was easier for them to get raised to 500 first.
Still, possibly legendary pants? Hilarious.
I am a little disappointed that we aren’t getting Jeweler up to level 500 right now. I understand that the process for creating new armor skins is time consuming, what with rigging and making a version for all the different character models, but with jewelry it would take minimum effort to implement—especially in that there are already a bunch of ‘ascended’ quality trinkets available in the game. I can see the Chef taking a while to figure out all the little intricacies, as it’s not like you want to eat dust and ectoplasm, but as Chef and Jeweler are the two crafting skills I use the most, I really hope Jeweler is updated next.
I’m disappointed that these ascended weapons are coming out before the new legendaries are. I may well wind up making ascended weapons and then a legendary after (lots of wasted time/materials)

Just announcing their plans for next patch ade the TP go haywire and alot of mats had huge price spikes.
If you would also introduce ascended crafted trinkets/armor or pre coursors at the same time, there siply wouldnt be enough mats in game to cover demand.
