Haven’t seen this on here yet but found a verified recipe to making an ascended backpiece with infusion slot without having to spend gold on it. This doesn’t mean that its grindfree, you will have to farm 1850 fractal relics to do this.

Yes, but we know it can be infused based on the item database, which is good enough for me!

But its a waste to put something into the infusion slot before upgrading it. The infusion slot contents get lost when mystic forging the upgrade.

Be that as it may, judging from the other infusion recipes, it will probably be quite an investment of either time or gold or both to infuse it. I have no problem burning some fractal relics in the meantime to get some infusion right now.

This recipe for this is:

• One of the Exotic Back items gained from the dungeon vendor in FotM.
• Gift of Ascension (same vendor as above)
• One Vial of Condensed Mist Essence (drops in Fractals)
• 40 Crystals OR Philosopher Stones from Miyani (depending on if you want offensive or defensive infusion slot)

Crystals = Offensive slot
Philosopher Stones = Defensive slot

Total cost for this is 1850 FoTM Tokens + skill points
