I tried to do some crafting today and it was still capped at 400 i couldn’t get any exp from crafting either when is the new crafting coming ?

Did you by chance try to craft in an armor profession? Only ascended weapons are out at the moment.

How can I craft the new dire gear?

only weaponsmith,artificer and huntsman atm.
I’m sure the rest will get the treatment at a later date

You can’t. It replaces Traveler, which can only be gotten from dungeons.
