Hi, started playing the game and i’ve massed up 150 gold finally, im ready to start crafting. i have 2 questions though.

1) how much gold (appx) does it take to lvl a proffesion to lvl 500 ?

2) about how many levels (if a character started as lvl1) would i get if i crafted from 1-500? how much would my lvl 1 character level up ?

aka enough to get leatherworking, tailoring or armorsmithing to level 500…

I’m pretty sure that it is 10 levels per lvl500 craft.(or 400 if that is the max)

Crafting isn’t really a great way to level, but if you are going to get a few levels from crafting, the three cheapest are:

chef (lvl 400 max), jeweler (lvl 400 max), artificer (lvl 500 max)

well i have 3 lvl 80s, but i wanna make 3 new characters, and was just wondering how much they would be lvled but thanks lol fast responses on the forums, awesome.

10 Levels from 1-500, 7 levels from 1-400.

The cheapest way to level is do chief, jeweller and artificer from 1-400 first.

400-500 is always a looooot more expensive.

1-400 is typically around 5-10g. 400-500 is around 100-200g. don’t go for 500 unless you REALLY want ascended items (they only have like 5% more stats than exotic)
btw: each ascended item is around 60g (in addition to getting to crafting 500), plus about 100k karma, 20 SP, and ascended materials
