According to the wiki the mystic forge output quantity is 45 for 1 Master Salvage/1 ToT Bag/26 Plastic Fangs/26 Chattering Skulls.

This simply is not the case. I tried twice and received a return of 2 & 3 Nougat Centers. It seems to me that there are 3 possible reasons for the discrepancy: 1. the wiki entry is wrong, 2. the drop rate was intentionally reduced for this year since the wiki entry was created OR 3. Something about the Mystic Forge is bugged, at least with respect to nougat return rate.

If the intended return rate is say 1-5, it seems that is a fairly low rate of return for what all is tossed in, and not really worth it in my opinion.

Can anybody confirm either the 45 output from the wiki or that 2-3 is within the appropriate range for returns?

I’ve never done this recipe myself, but just throwing the possibility out there.

Since posting I have also found that chattering skulls and plastic fangs are listed on the wiki of having a return rate of 45.

This is a possibility although usually if there is a range that range is stated on the wiki rather than a specific number.

I would not be surprised if the issue is simply a matter of me being unlucky, i’m not a fan of RNG and my perception is that it hates me. However then the issue of having 2 subsequent returns on virtually the bottom end of the return rate comes up. Of course my sample size is tremendously low because I was unwilling to keep wasting all those resources for what seemed to be almost nothing in return. Mystic Toilet indeed.
