So I have been taking a break from GW2 during the holidays and therefore i don’t feel very updated regarding devs recent statements and things like that. My question is: Have there been any mention of a new or improved way of earning lodestones? I am specifically interested in charged lodestones.

If not then ill just have to start grinding… well any answer is welcome!

Nothing has been said… possibly for fear of unsettling the precious Trading Post.

Got both charged and corrupted lodestones when I did fotm 10 last night from Jade Maw’s chest. In fact, I’ve gotten most of my lodestones from Jade Maw’s chest. However, I got my glacial lodestone from a random corrupted ice elemental in Frostgorge Sound.

Getting them effectively in bulk is annoying due to them being 4 gold each on the TP and with the lack of places to get them without a group its no wonder and even if you do farm the sparks the drop rate is terrible.

No one goes to orr, meaning no one does the event, meaning no one can kill sparks for charged lodestones.

You’re losing out on efficiency and gold per hour if you’re farming sparks themselves.

Farm shelt/pen, make a lot of money and buy cores to forge up to lodestones.

Because the supply of cores is infinite…

I always enjoy plans to shift the burden of actually getting kitten done on to other people.

Improving your gold per hour without bringing value into the system just devalues the gold.
