So I’m an avid crafter I already have all crafting maxed just on one toon and I like many others are working towards Legendaries but when I need 500 Orich ore just for two gifts alone and it seems the spawn times are insane.

I have found them in ore but sparsely along within the PvP dungeon I came across a Rich one….Why are there so little? When the final stage of weapon/armor is only Orich?

Any suggestions on spots or even maybe an increase in spawns of Orchi because running an hour through a zone to only find two and get 12 ore to equal 6 bars(2 ore per bar) is just well foolish and beyond grindy….

i got 50 for area completion once. my BF got silk for the same completion though, so it isn’t for sure.

Cursed Shore have 5 spawns,Malchor`s Leap-another 5,Frostgorge Sound -2 .Also 2 more including a rich vein in Obsidian Sanctum/Eternal Battleground.So plenty around although with long respawn timer.Just go to Cursed Shore for example and ask in map chat where are current spawns of ores-people will answer with link to closest waypoint/point of interest.After-go collect them and move to next area.Having 250 ores and 30ish ingots already without putting too much efforts to regularly gather all avaible spawns.

Pretty sure the spawn time is 5 hours. But the spawns shift quite regularly. At that rate you can pull at least (5+5+2+2)x3 = 42 orichalcum ores every 5 hours and even more if your server has the wvw buffs or you run across a rich node.

Even if you run the cycle to collect them once a day thats only 11-12 days to gather 500.
