Have they said if these are going to be added this year? I am ready to clean out my bank with stuff I am not using but scared to since I may need it in the near future to work on the other professions to 500. It kind of ticks me off that so many things get changed without a time frame and I actually am scared to get rid of excess since I have no idea if I need it or not
Other professions to 500?
Last we’ve heard is that they will introduce is by the end of the year.
I have two thoughts on that, it will either happen in Dec (along with new skills/traits) this way it doesn’t effect WvW season 1 balance.
Or, they have decided to hold off (or at least rethink) ascended armor after most of the backlash from ascended weapons.
Both of those are just wild speculation though. The last official word was back in June which said “by the end of the year.”
Yeah.. it is more cooking and jewel crafting that I want to sell the stuff from.. but really just can’t do it since I don’t want to buy it all back in a month or 2 at a higher price. If I knew that it would be later next year then I would sell it and not worry about building it back up. Just leaving us hanging like this is not fun!

We’ll expand all crafting professions to allow them to reach a new milestone: 500 points!
Thats all we know.
My recollection is that they have stated ARMOR crafting to 500 will be introduced by the end of the year. I have not seen ANY comment on COOKING or JEWELER other than they do plan to increase them to 500. I would be surprised if those 2 are done before New Years (but increased by end of February).

I think the grandmaster armor crafting might come sooner then later. When an updates has new skins hidden in the code, usually they are implemented 2-4 weeks after that update. People found ascended armor skins around a month ago, so I really feel like this could happen at any time.
As for cooking and jewel crafting that might be a bit.
