I understand the drop rate of Passion Flowers have been discussed numerous times however Anet needs realize how discouraged its player base is by the outrageously low drop rate of the Passion Flower.

When I pick a Gold Ore node there is a 100% chance that I will receive Gold Ore. When I pick an Asparagus node there is a 100% chance that I will receive Asparagus. If I pick an Onion node there is a 100% chance I will receive Onion. However when I pick a Passiflora node there is a 0.00% chance that I will receive a Passion Flower. Now, those are my findings. I know Passion Flowers exist and the actual drop rate is greater than 0.00% but if I run through the zone and pick every Passiflora yet receive none, how am I suppose to feel? Well, discouraged. I am not encouraged to log in to the game the next day knowing there is a slim to no chance of receiving this flower when I spend 30 – 60 minutes farming this flower.

No, I don’t log in to the game to only farm this plant however I do want the Passiflora Orichalcum Ring of the Apothecary. The ring is insanely expensive. I’m not good at making $ in MMOs so I decided that I will work for it the other way…I learned the craft…crafted 0-400 in Jeweler. I look online the mats required for the ring. I need 5 Exquisite Passion Flowers. In order to make those, I need 15 Passion Flowers. That totals 75 Passion Flowers. I begin to farm and run through the entire zone of Southsun Cove picking every Passiflora but no Passion Flower to be found. I am willing to work to obtain this ring. I will farm all the mats needed to make it but when the drop rate is incredibly low, how can 1 player farm all the mats needed to make this 1 ring? I can alone farm mats for amulets and other rings but for this ring, it is just too much.

Anet, would you kindly increase the drop rate of the Passion Flower? If you still would like this to be a rare drop then okay, don’t make it drop every time but perhaps 20%?

For those of you that are tired of the low drop rate, please post a comment and hopefully Anet will take the appropriate action.

Agree, arena net you should do something about it. It really is not fun at all.

I do agree. And there’re even those infusion upgrades that can me made with TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY OF THEM…. I don’t have even 1, how are we supposed to get 250 without …… well, you got the idea.
