So when it comes to crafting Mystic Clovers, is it less expensive, skill point wise, to use the recipe with Philosopher’s Stones? It seems to me it is. If that’s the case, is there any benefit using the other recipe?

Its the same amount of skillpoints.

one will get you clovers 1-by-1, the other is 10-by-10. that’s the only difference. If you do the 1-by-1, your results will be more average (it takes about 231 obsidian shards). If you do 10-by-10, your results will be more likely to be off-average. case-in-point: I got 60 clovers from about 10 forgings of 10-at-a-time, then the last 10 took another 15 forgings.

I wasted many ectos and shards trying 10 for 10 in bulk. I ended up using the 1 for 1 recipe and got far more clovers and far less wasted mats. Just in my personal experience. Either way make sure your shards and ectos are a plenty….

I do them by 10s, I would do them by 100s if I could.
