What is the most efficient way to farm piles of bloodstone dust? I understand that this is typically a champion drop. Is there an efficient way to farm this in open world?

?? Do you really need to farm them. I have like 100 Bricks and 3000 pile of dust still in my bank. This is like sand at the beach, its everywhere.

Thanks for the prompt responses. Given the changes to the ascended back pieces, I am looking to make an upgrade. I have read that the dust is dropped in large quantities. However, I am unsure if certain areas (or champions) are most efficient for farming. For instance, do I need to target Orr or similar areas? Can I target champions in low level zones and have a chance for the dust to drop? Is there a circuit that can be run?

WvW…have like over 6k of the stuff from there…

as mentioned you could WvW or you can join the champ train in queensdale. 1 hour should give you enough dust for plenty of back pieces lol

If you are unsure, don’t even try it. For your purposes, as long as you farm the Queensdale champs with a level 80 character you cannot go wrong. It’s simple and easy, if a bit mind numbing.
