Can you actually craft Pirate & Swindler armor as a Leatherworker? I am at 400 Leatherworking and I can make Emblazoned, Noble, Prowler, Rascal, Leather, Outlaw, & Seeker, but not those other two. Am I missing the recipes somewhere? Do they require using the Mystic Forge to learn them?

Pirate armor, I believe, comes from the karma vendor after you clear Sharkmaw Cave in Lions Arch. It’s been a while since I checked there but I know Pirate Weapons are from that vendor.

Only weapons are from that vendor and there are no recipes.

Has been a while since I last checked it. Can’t remember where I have seen the pirate gear, unless it was on the Gem Store, and that would probably not be the gear he was after.

No, pirate gear is all drops from what I understand. Buy a cheap set and use your transmute stones.

Well that’s too bad. How about Swindler?

Both Pirate and swindler are from drops, they drop super duper frequently so you can get them very cheaply from the TP.

as a Guardian, donno my age but have been lvl 80 for a short amount of time now, i’ve received countless pirate and swindler gear. lol. i guess it kind of makes sense cause my wife play’s a thief.

so i can confirm you defs get pirates as drops. swindler i want to say yes as well.
