Talking with all my guild members, no one has seen any of these recipes and combine between us there are a few thousand AC runs, a couple hundred CM runs, and over 100 TA runs. No one has heard it mentioned in party chat during pugs, seen it drop, didn’t even know the recipes existed till I asked.

Has anyone gotten one of these, is it just that rare of a drop, or am I missing something to get it? I have a 400 jewel crafter and these are perfect for my build but recipes seem to be BoP, and requires the unlock to make them.

There are some people with the AC recipe already. I think those exist, just extreeeeeemely rare and probably not tradeable, just account-bound. (I’m just guessing here, else we’d see them pop up at TP for a couple hundred gold already)

According to gw2db.com the recipe is bind on pick up, so i know they are not sellable, but I am curious on the rarity or if there is a secret or something to it, because in 1000+ AC runs between all guild members you would like at least 1 person would have seen it.

I got the recipe for plague the first time I did path 2 in CM. It dropped from the endboss. The recipe is BoP.

edit: whatever it was, I couldn’t sell the recipe, so either AB or BoP

the recipes are AB. i picked up the claw recipe 2 days ago and in the same set of runs, someone got the fang recipe.

So yay for poor RNG.

Wish they would change it to sellable, or allow us to purchase it with tokens.

Well besides the recipe they also drop various exotics. Got a ghost hide back item a while ago.

each dungeon (besides arah) has 2 jewelry recipes + a soulbound lv 80 exotic backpiece dropping from the respective path boss. Arah has 3 jewelry and 1 backpiece.

I just got the Tortured Root about 6 hours ago in TA. Honestly when I saw that a recipe dropped I thought nothing of it, figured it’d be worthless. But about 30min ago I finally learned it after passing it to my engi(yes they are account bound like you thought) and saw the ridiculous profit margin I have now changed my mind. It was definitely not worthless. Needed about 80g more to finish The Moot, thanks to this drop it’s going to go much faster now.

Recipes are account bound and require lvl 400 Jeweler as well as lvl 80. I got Eternal Flame from CoF and had to level my 400 Jeweler to lvl 80 in order to use it.
