I want to fish. Not underwater spearing.

Maybe this exists although I am a lvl 80 and haven’t seen it – but it would be nice if killing fish would give you fish meat to use in crafting recipes. This could go hand in hand with your suggestion as well.

It would make sense and motivate people to go into water as well as pole fish.

Expand the water/underwater aspect of the game !

There’s so much beautiful scenery underwater.. this also could give you additional reasons to go looking at it.

I found a fishing pole lying on the ocean floor that i could pick up. It had no skills associated with it, but I took it out and snapped a screenshot of me standing on a rock with the fishing pole, looking over the water. =P

If you’re wondering where, I believe it was in the Sunken Droknah area of Mount Maelstrom, kind of near the shore.

they said they were looking into fishing a while ago and have left fish meat out of the game intentionally so they can impliment it later. no promises but they are aware of the fishing fetish mmo player’s have.
