Today i placed 4 identical lvl 80 rare Greatswords into the forge and was rewarded with 1 of the exact same type!!..is this a bug?? shouldn’t the forge upgrade the items you place in it and not give out a duplicate item?? was kinda annoyed to say the least..hope that’s not normal forge behavior?

No that’s working as intended. If you put it 4 rare Greatswords, then you will get 1 random Greatsword back. So it can be the same rare.
There’s a 20% chance for an upgrade to exotic.

Yes they have but, not enough to be able to get a precursor from just 4 gs. i would imagine its gone from 0.1% to like 0.3/4 for rares, 1.x to 2.x for exo ? I wish i could afford to test it out properly
