Hey guys, im trying to get some mats for weapons crafting of wintersday, Im sure the weapons will be awesome but I dont have a lot of money so id rather buy a couple items now, rather than risk xtimes when they get in demand.

So i need your help build up, what possible items might be needed for wintersday.

I hate threads like this…

Don’t try to unbalance the market / make a profit on these items with “speculation” posts. (even if it’s not your actual intention)

Stop speculating on things without any evidence, ‘cause right now it just seems you’re trying to make gold out of buying up cheap materials and stirring up false rumors to manipulate demand for those items. (I mean, glacial cores and lodestones, really?? …)

And if anyway, wait for ANet / Gaming magazines to leak info on the event, and look for recipes/evidence in the footage they give

Mint makes sense…. glacial cores/lodestones is a HUGE stretch imo

Well you know, unlike you TSLlol.4879 some of us are not rich, and sitting on 20-30g for crafting Arachnophobia or crossing, is hard for us, Id rather get some right now, than risk never being able to get it at all.
Also I would add to OP, Mint sounds like a promising clue, Glacial on the other hand, i dunno, but it also makes sense, since the only thing glacial crafts is Frostfang so far.

Egg. Cinnamon. Mint. good call on that one.

Glacial Cores sound legit. It is Wintersday after all.

I’d assume Chocolate as well, (Chocolate+Jug of Water+Sugar= Hot Chocolate Anyone?), but that’s plentiful so it’s not too big a deal.

I actually have a feeling that ‘mint’ won’t be too big a required ingredient, ‘cause I’d assume that Holiday Crafting item would probably be either Peppermints or Candy Canes, which would take the place of mint.

Apples might actually go up, ’cause Apple Cider is pretty holiday-ish. Anything used in the making of cookies would probably be applicable.

Ginger definitely (gingerbread men?). Mashed Potatoes? Wintersday Ham?

They also might have a Wintersday Cake of some sort that requires Red and Green Frosting (not sure what they’d make it out of).

Maybe an Omnomberry Angel/Star/Tree?
