Guild Wars 2

As per the shortened title:
Is it at all possible in game, via a support ticket or via any other means to exchange a gift (like Gift of Fortune, for example) back to it’s original ingredients?

The reason for this question:
With precursor prices going into the upper reaches of the stratosphere with no short term solution, people may decide to not bother with crafting legendaries at all or postpone the craft to a later date when all these issues have been fixed.
Having access to the raw mats again, in order to sell or use for another type of mystic forge weapon, using badges for armor, etc. would be incredibly beneficial.

(I am sorry if this has been answered before. I could not find a post with this question.)

Unfortunately, I don’t believe this is possible. Best you can do is sell the gift to a vendor.
