Precursor can be obtained as a mob drop!
This has been known for about as long as we have been able to see dusk/dawn in the tp. The drop rate is most likely less than that of the mystic forge.

Yeah I heard too. But to me was a bunch of rumors, never seen proof. Until now. So that’s why I’m posting. For skeptics like me.
I rather get it as a lucky drop then waste money on the forge. I’ll use forge for known recipes that don’t rely on RNG thank you.
With the mob farming DR system now in place, I’d say your already-abysmal chance at a precursor drop just got cut in half.
