Pristine Toxic Spore Sample?
The events are probably meant to be the “supply” for the forseeable future. And possibly the spore patches if those are still around, though I haven’t been to Kessex lately so I’m not sure if they are or not.
I agree that its not nearly enough, though. If those sources are meant to be pretty much the only way to get them, that’s fine (I’d actually much prefer an “organic” way to get them like that than just a home instance node), but they need to provide a decent supply then. 1 spore per spore patch and a couple per event doesn’t cut it. Spore patches should provide 3-4 samples per patch, and events should be no less than 5.
I think that Toxic Seedlings should spawn randomly all across the game world, to represent the fact that the Tower of Nightmares’ destruction scattered its spores far and wide, continuing to germinate for years to come.
Each map has one or two nodes, and like all nodes, their position changes with each update.
There’s probably enough excess supply floating around to get us through the year, but after that…it’s going to get pretty rough for anyone wanting to make anything requiring these
Personally I am surprised that the price has stayed so low given that crafting consumables with them is the only sustainable use for bloodstone dust.

But it uses spores/dust at a ration of 10/1000 i think.

there’s a handful of the nodes scattered around Kessex, too.

10/100
Although, having looked at the prices for the toxic consumables the price probably won’t go up too much further. It gives a return of 15 copper per bloodstone dust.

Right, was a typo.

The toxic events are still up, the spores are still farmable, and the sinks for the material are consumables gated by heavy bloodstone dust requirements.
It’s balanced

Well, you still got the sigil of torment and rune of antitoxin, which use 100/50 spore samples. However, the rune is not profitable to craft atm, as it is available 25% under crafting value atm due to plenty of salvages from the rare aquabreather of antitoxin.
We will see how the feature patch will inluence the rune and sigil though.
