So the past couple days have been discouraging.
The final step I need for Twilight, is Dusk… that’s all!
And so I’ve been doing what I can to farm gold to get enough for it.
And so far I’ve hit half way! Or I did… then the price went up.
Then the prices went up again.
And now no matter how much I earn, the price is just going up just as fast…
A few days ago, they were 600, now they’re 670…
When will it just be time to mystic forge chance it then earn up all that gold?
600 to 670 and you’re complaining? The price fluctuates that much or more way too often.
If you really watch the pricing, you’ll see a fairly certain buy point threshold. Save up to that and you’ll be fine.
I do watch it. Usually it goes from 600 to 650 easily but would stay around 600-620 for the most part.
What I pay attention to are the Buy offers.
They were usually
650, 640, 620, 600, 550, 400, 300
But now they’re all
670.5, 670, 668, 662, 650.5, 650, 642
So the price dropping down will be harder unless quite a few Dusks are found and sold.
Three weeks ago Dusk was around 675g and buy orders were 575-600g. I know because I sold one. Not much has changed. If anything, the avg price has been trending lower than what it’s been for the past month.
Regardless, prices for the rates, ectos, and ori have all been increasing, so it’s not like using the MF will somehow cost less. RNG is RNG. You could spend 10x the money gambling with the MF versus purchasing direct….or you could spend 1/10th the cost if you’re lucky.
My wife has also completed Twilight minus Dusk. The price of that weapon is just laughably high. MF is too risky. They say the 500 crafting is in the next update but didn’t mention precursors yet. Would like clarification on that as they did say that was their plan a little while back.
