Hello, I am looking for a guide that says combine x,y,z,t and you get p.

I am not looking for a generic guide (ie orbs give you peacemaker weapons—I can google and found those pages, which are crap). The current pvp locker isn’t set up that way that I am looking for something where I can type in a name and it will spit out a recipe. Sort of like that exists for the pvp armor sets—you have specific pages for each item set.

Does this exist? Thanks.

As far as I know it is random, it depends on the rank token you put in… So the recipe is always the same, and you may get something from the rank you put in or below.

The PvP_reward wiki link is to the armor, and I’m looking for something that does the same thing with the weapons.

For example: arcane dust + arcane orb/crystal/sliver + [rank token] + [weapon] = [specific weapon skin]

where [specific weapon skin] = {destroyer torch, Sylvari pistol, peacemaker sword, etc.}

It looks like pvpers haven’t filled out the wiki because no one collects the gear???

This is over a year old, unfortunately. It isn’t accurate. If you try crafting Frozen items with deer tokens you will be wasting all your glory because you won’t ever get them. Some items are double named in the locker (same name different item), and some items apparently are of rare quality but aren’t labeled with the appropriate prefix. The website that shows pvp rewards is for armor only—there is no version for weapons—yes the listed website gives a general guide, but for specific pieces, there is no guide and the general guide is dated by 1 year (and things have changed and been renamed since).

Woodenpotatoes youtube—I’ve watched it (wish it wasn’t 25 min…) and didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know from messing around with the forge based on the general guide. Again, there is no webpage out there that lists item name = recipe for weapons.

The recipe’s on there still work. But if you want the secondary item listed, you only get it if you Crit while Crafting it. You can boost your Critical Craft chances by 15% with a guild boost.

So a Svanir Weapon:

Deer Token + Arcane Crystal + Arcane Powder + Item Token
(But you have to Crit otherwise you only get a Krait Weapon)

or

Deer Token + Arcane Silver + Arcane Powder + Item Token
(No Need to Crit as this is the standard recipe)

I would agree that the site has some outdated recipe’s and that a lot of the newer items aren’t covered. But we don’t even know if the newer weapons can even be crafted or if they are strictly drops from high rank chests. But this won’t change until we get some transparency in PvP from Anet. And I don’t think that is going to happen anytime soon.

Well that site says that Frozen items can be made from Deer recipes…and I’ve wasted so much glory not getting any frozen items from chests or mystic forging.

The website is ok but sometimes for no reason the recipe gets swapped from a crystal to an orb meaning you waste like 10 tries on something only to find that for that particular item, you need to use an orb to get the same prefix that is a crystal for other weapons. This happened with the Trident with the forest prefix—supposedly it should be a crystal (all other forest recipes are) but this one I got on a first try from an orb.

With the Wolf rank stuff, I got a “Gladius” while working on my Norn Sword which isn’t even supposed to come from this (no prefix or anything or hints that I should be trying to go for that…).

This is just a bit frustrating considering all the other areas of the game are pretty mapped out and this is uncharted and disorganized (and I’m a casual guy who just focuses on pvp and all of a sudden have some time to play this summer/fall and wanted to make my character look like a rank 36… instead of my salmon robes ;P)

Only the Frozen Shortbow can be made from Deer Tokens. It is actually a glitch and shouldn’t be craftable. But if you look at that website is actually says: Svanir (Frozen Shortbow, Etched Blade). Meaning you can craft Svanir weapons, the Frozen Shortbow or the Etched Blade with Deer Tokens.

Frozen weapons are only available at rank 70. See the below chart.

The real issue is that no one has updated the Wiki past rank 40. So other websites can’t be updated or created, because they still have access to the same info they got shortly after launch. The PvP scene has lost a lot of its major players over the last couple of months, so until we see some updates we will be stuck with a lack of incentive for people to research the high level recipes.

Personally I like all the Ghastly Weapons so I created all of them for my PvP builds, they are easy to make and you do not see many people with them. But I can understand your need to change your weapon skins.
