Guild Wars 2

Hello fellow players,

I played GW2 at release for a few months and during that time I got my Guardian to Jeweler lvl 400. I then stopped playing for a long time and recently came back. The game has changed quite a bit.

I see now that there are recipes that require me to be above 400. And there is Orichalcum ore in the game. I asked a friend, and he said refining that can get me above 400. I made 40 ingots and nothing happened. I asked another friend and he said I needed to discover recipes to move the peg above 400. I discovered Exquisite Ruby Jewel and made one. Nothing happened.

Is there a step I am missing to allow my character to get Jeweler XP above level 400?

Yes.

Only the armor and weapon crafting professions have already been raised to 500, we are still waiting on Jeweler and Cook.
