I read on the wiki, that the crystals were only lootable from Quartz Crystal nodes that were in an area that is now off-limits. Also, people who were playing during the time and got an achievement, do have a node in their home instance.

What about for people who have not played during that time? I’d like to be able to get those, but my Hero’s Canton is missing any node and I haven’t found any access to that area (Labyrinthine Cliffs). Is there a way to get it/there?
(Except for buying them in TP, as I do now)

You may have another way though. Again, I’m not 100% that this will work, but if you have a friend who has the quartz node in his personal instance, go into it with him and you may be able to mine his.

Sorry but as it stands at the moment if you didn’t get your own node in your home instance already then your main source is the trading post.

However according to the wiki they also appear in the Sanctum Sprint end chest. Can anyone confirm if that’s still the case?

Ah yes, this too, you can team up with someone and visit their home instance and you can use their quartz and/or candy corn nodes if they have them.

Hmm, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten any quartz from the chest at the end (at least since the Bazaar left).

While it’s assumed that you can mine quartz again when the Bazaar comes back, no one knows if you’ll be able to get the quartz node, though I’d lean towards a no.

Quartz does not drop from the Sanctum Sprint end-chest, no. I’ve done well over 60 runs there and I have never found any. They USED to drop from the activity back when Bazaar was still active, which is where the confusion probably arose.
