Question about cooking and rare dye recipes
It gives a CHANCE at a rare from that spectrum (grey would honestly be the only one with a significant profit). Honestly ur better off just buying the dye itself you desire.

Which is exactly the problem.
Crafting is already worthless enough without screwing us over on the RNG. Dyes take a massive ingredient cost to craft. They don’t even sell well enough on the TP to craft for profit. When you open them, they should at least grant an automatic dye of the rarity that was crafted.

I never said it wasn’t a problem..I was just trying to help.
That’s pretty rotten. If it says rare, you should get a rare dye, no RNG involved.
This is why I would never craft dyes through cooking myself. The price per dye is too steep, and you may not even get the tier you want. IF Master/Rare dyes always gave you a dye from the Uncommon/Rare tiers, it might be worth it, but until that happens, it’s cheaper to simply farm dyes through normal play or buy the ones you need off the TP.
Incidentally, such a change would probably result in a boost to the prices of many common ingredients like Carrots or Onions too, due to the fact that you need large quantities of them to craft dyes.
It clearly says in the item description that you have a chance at rare, uncommon, or common dye. The lower tier ones don’t even give a chance at a rare.
