Ok I was going to have my friend make me a few thing that requires lemons. However these are account bound. So them I thought, hey why not send them the money to get the items and make the food. that is when I discover Lemons like many other ingredients are account bound and only be purchased for Karma. wtf???

Is there anyway to get my cook friend the lemons or is he just stuck spending karma to make the food?

Those are not expensive karma-wise, but it adds up as there are a lot of other materials that require you to travel around the world and spend karma. So yeah, hes stuck to spend karma to make you food.

There is 1 way out of this: if those lemons required to make some cooking ingredient for final food – you probably can buy that secondary ingredient on TP.

I still don’t understand how their can be hundreds of thousands of buy orders for lemons, while we are not able to sell them. Anet should really take this out of the TP.

This is a bummer. maybe I just need a cooking alt which then takes a little chunk out of the economy and the MMO experience. All ingredients should be tradeable ( <- not sure if this is a real word)
